The associative symbiosis of the host and microorganisms, mechanisms of colonization resistance of the host organizm. Mechanisms of host resistance to bacterial colonization have been described and decoded, including inhibition of pathogen adhesion, antagonistic antimicrobial action of normoflora, synergistic effect of dominant microorganisms with endogenous host defense factors, and suppression of the persistent potential of allochthonous bacteria. The revealed pathogenetic disorders of associative symbiosis made it possible to predict the nature of the course of the pathology and to carry out its therapy.
