As the best world experience shows, the use of organoid (3D-cell) cultures is promising in addressing these issues. This review analyzes data on the use of organoid (3D-cell) cultures of human and animal origin to study immunopathogenesis, as well as to assess the ability of a number of viruses (SARS-CoV-2, influenza, Zika, measles, etc.) for cross-species transmission, which determines their pandemic potential</p>
к межвидовым переходам, что обусловливает их пандемический потенциал.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>review</kwd><kwd>organoid (3D-cell) cultures</kwd><kwd>viruses</kwd><kwd>cross-species transmission</kwd><kwd>epidemiology</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>обзор</kwd><kwd>органоидные (3D-клеточные) культуры</kwd><kwd>вирусы</kwd><kwd>межвидовые переходы</kwd><kwd>эпидемиология</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Government of the Russian Federation</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Правительство Российской Федерации</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id>141-00089-21-00</award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Попова А. В.
